SHERMA ANDREWS
Legendary Lady Singers

The Music of Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, and more

“Sings like an angel”, says Enrique Iglesias.

“She’s Amazing,” raves Michael McDonald.

"She’s got the voice and the look to thrill us,” exclaims Valerie Simpson of Ashford & Simpson.

Sherma Andrews is a gifted singer, songwriter, recording artist, arranger and pianist and former faculty member at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music who has performed at major worldwide festivals including Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival, and has worked with major stars such as Britney Spears, Branford Marsalis, Enrique Iglesias, Donna Summer and many others.  While touring with Enrique Iglesias, Sherma replaced Whitney Houston to sing their duet hit, “Could I have this Kiss Forever?”

Sherma’s theatre shows, featuring her with a 5-piece band or recorded tracks, celebrate Legendary Lady Singers whose amazing lives and iconic hits are known and loved by audiences everywhere.   It’s the music of Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Sade, Donna Summer, Natalie Cole, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Anita Baker, Beyonce and more.  Sherma can customize shows to feature a selection of lady legends - e.g., Ladies of Soul, or Ladies of Pop, or Ladies of Jazz. Or, she can do an entire performance to one artist such as her “Queen of Soul” show, which celebrates the greatest hits of the late great Aretha Franklin.
