The Mighty Echoes
A Capella Doo Wop

A high energy a capella doo wop show, The Mighty Echoes re-create the vocal group sound of rock & roll's classic era. Since 1986, this Los Angeles-based group have been entertaining audiences coast-to-coast with gorgeous harmonies of the greatest hits of the 50's and 60's -- everything from "Blue Moon", "Duke of Earl", "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", and "Return to Sender" to "Runaround Sue", "Unchained Melody", Up on the Roof", "Sh-Boom", and those fantastic lyrics of "Rama Lama Ding Dong".

This fantastic quartet is familiar to audiences across America, having been seen as guest stars on popular TV shows for over twenty years, beginning with Tony Danza's #1 prime time hit, “Who’s The Boss?” and continuing, most recently, with a star turn on Danny DeVito's high-rated cable show, "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.”

The Mighty Echoes have appeared in concert with numerous show biz legends, including: Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Stevie Wonder, The Coasters, The Marvelettes,The Marcels, Chubby Checker, Gene Chandler, Little Anthony, The Shirelles, The Diamonds, The Penguins, The Flamingos, Tony Orlando and many other great artists.

The Mighty Echoes are:

Charlie Davis: Native New Yorker Charlie’s bass is deep as an ocean trench. Many years ago he was the original live-action Spiderman and his was the voice of God on TV’s Power Rangers.

John Lathan: John hails from Mobile, Alabama, hence the deep gospel roots of his powerful tenor. He has appeared on Broadway and at the Apollo in Harlem and been seen on TV shows such as West Wing.

Jon Rubin: As lead singer with San Francisco Bay Area band, The Rubinoos, Jon appeared countless times in Tiger Beat magazine. His high tenor has thrilled audiences in Europe and Japan as well as the United States.

Harvey Shield: Baritone Harvey began his career in Swinging London as the drummer in Episode Six, precursors to Rock icons Deep Purple. His song The Way I Feel Tonight was an international hit for the Bay City Rollers.
