Brooklyn Doo Wop Explosion

Starring The Manhattan Skyline
with special guests The Clusters & The Casinos

Snuggle up with your best guy or gal and let the Brooklyn DooWop Explosion whisk you back to another time and place. A time when all was right with the world, the music lived forever, and love never grew old. And a place called Brooklyn, where groups of young people gathered on building stoops and on subway platforms to sing in 5-part harmony about loves lost and found.

It was the DooWop era of the 50’s and the 60’s. And there’s no better DooWop today than the mellifluous sounds and complex harmonies of the Brooklyn DooWop Explosion. Three fantastic groups whose vocals are as spot-on today as they were back then under the spotlight of a Brooklyn street lamp.

This nostalgic evening features 3 brilliant groups: The Clusters (famous for their big hit “Darling Can’t You Tell”), The Casinos (“Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye”) and The Manhattan Skyline, whose leader performed with The Capris for many years and sang on their major hit “Morse Code of Love” and was the drummer for Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes “The Love I Lost”. The Manhattan Skyline will regale your audience with dreamy ballads from “Unchained Melody”, “Crying”, and “To be Loved”, to “Hold Me Thrill Me”, “This I Swear” and “Cara Mia”.

Book the Brooklyn DooWop Explosion. It’s a DooWop lover’s dream come true.
